Are you interested in Electric Vehicles? Have your eye on an EV as your next vehicle purchase? Always wanted to test drive one? Well you will have your chance at the SMARTNet Sustainability Showcase & Electric Vehicle Exhibition. Join us on Saturday September 21st at Ottawa's Landsdowne Park as we celebrate all things Sustainable. Inside the Horticulture Building we will have exhibitors, panels, workshops, a market place and more. Outside on the Aberdeen Square, the Electric Vehicle Exhibition will be in full swing. We've got some amazing vehicles on display this year as well as a chance to test drive some of the models. You can learn how to qualify for some amazing incentives and join our EV expert panel to hear the latest tips and tricks for buying new and used EVs. You'll also get a chance to experience riding on an electric bus with tours throughout the day. The EV Exhibition is proudly presented in partnership with the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa(EVCO).
Electric Vehicle Displays

On display will be the latest Electric Vehicle's everyone wants to see! We'll have several Tesla Models including the Model S, Model X and several Model 3's including the SR+ and one with.a long-range dual motor. We've got the BMW i3 and i3 Rex, the Mitsubishi i-Miev and the Audi e-Tron and Volkswagen e-Gulf. We'll also have a range from North American manufacturers including Chevy Bolt, Volt and a Ford Ranger EV Conversion. Electric Bus Tours

This year you will have the chance to tour on an Electric Bus!! Our friends at Proterra are loaning us an Electric Bus and we have several trips planned throughout the day. EV Test drives & workshops

New this year will be test drives from our friends over at Plug'n Drive!! Test out your favorite EV vehicle and get a feel for what it's like to drive one. Stay tuned to our social media channels for details about what makes and models will be on offer and how to sign up for a test drive on September 21st. Plug'n Drive will also be offering two Used EV Workshops throughout the day. Those who participate can qualify for their Used EV Incentive and get up to $1000 back on the purchase of a used electric vehicle. Join our Expert EV Panel

Inside the Horticulture Building, be sure to check out our panel moderated by the Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa (EVCO). This panel discussion will cover purchasing new and used affordable electric vehicles. You will learn about options that many people do not know exist, including lower operating costs for electric vehicles. Panelists will also shed light on common misconceptions about electric vehicles as well as the challenges would-be switchers might encounter, and why most people can probably afford to make the switch today if they really want to.
